As Grand Superintendent, it is my intention to promote the dissemination of Royal Arch Masonry among all the Brethren of the Province of Valencia, making them aware of the principles and values of this Order, as well as facilitating their incorporation, if that is their wish. And for this, I reproduce below a part of the text about the information of this Degree.
“Freemasonry is not in itself a political or religious association, but a means to improve our social, moral and civic conduct, as well as to enhance our faith in the Supreme Being.
The Supreme Order of the Royal Arch is described as "the root, heart and marrow of Freemasonry", having existed, developed and flourished for at least 260 years.
It is a vital part of Freemasonry, recognised as part of "pure old Masonry" by its Book of Constitutions. It follows the Symbolic Degrees, being the last part of a staging in four acts that raises the link between our mortal existence and our belief in Eternity, thus directing our thoughts to comply with the will of the Creator.
It is a way of life that teaches us to be charitable in thought and action not only with other Freemasons, but with all our fellow men, eradicating envy and discord and promoting harmony. Likewise, it teaches us to dominate all unworthy passion and all prejudice, as well as to cultivate Charity. It encourages us to walk fairly and honestly through life, reminding us that there is One who knows every thought, word and deed, and to whom we must account for all our actions.”

Most Excellent Grand Superintendent - Provincial Grand Chapter of Valencia
Welcome to the Provincial Grand Chapter of Valencia website and I trust you will find it both informative and interesting.
It is primarily for the Companions of the Province but I hope it will also be helpful to Brethren who may be considering joining the Order. Brethren can join provided they have been a Master Mason for at least four weeks.
The Province of Valencia is an important member of the Supreme Grand Chapter of Spain and includes all the Royal Arch Chapters in the regions of Alicante, Castellón, Murcia and Valencia..
It is a great honor and a great responsibility for me to continue the task started by those who preceded me in the position, M.E. Comp. Barrie R. Mansell 2009-2015 and M.E. Comp. Norman Wheatley (2015-2022), who, together with all the Companions, who during these years have been part of this Province, have contributed to its improvement and growth.

About Us
The Royal Arch Province of Valencia is an integral part of the Valencian Masonic Family.
When a Freemason has attained the rank of a Master Mason he is then entitled, after a period of four weeks, to be Exalted into a Royal Arch Chapter to further extend his Masonic knowledge. He is then referred to as a Companion in the Royal Arch.
Royal Arch Chapters meet independently from Lodges and a Chapter is normally attached to a Lodge.
The regalia worn by the members is different from that of a Craft Lodge. It consists of an Apron with red and blue surround, a red and blue Sash and a special Jewel, which Royal Arch Masons should also wear in their Craft Lodges, in order to show the bond that exists between Craft and Royal Arch.
As in all Masonic degrees the ritual of the Royal Arch is an allegory that helps to focus the minds of the Companions, without conflicting with their religious beliefs, to a contemplation of the nature of, and their relationship with their God.
A Royal Arch Chapter has a number of officers with particular titles but most important are the three Principals who jointly rule the Chapter for one year. Each year there is an Installation meeting for the new team of officers.
At a national level, the Supreme Grand Chapter of Spain controls the affairs of the Royal Arch and officers are appointed at an Annual Convocation.
M.E. Comp. Txema Oleaga Zalvidea is the First Grand Principal. M.E Comp Barry Mansell is the Deputy First Grand Principal. The Grand Superintendent of the Province of Valencia is M. E.. Comp. Luis Alcaina Guzmán
The Provincial Grand Chapter of Valencia incorporates the regions of Valencia and Murcia. Of the present nine chapters, two are situated in the Province of Valencia, three in the Province of Alicante and three in the Province of Murcia
